About me

At this point you are likely to ask, "who is this guy?"

Not that likely, but let's imagine you are. I am Croaker, I am Androl the Greedy, I am Toli and I am a guy who won't share his real name, sorry about that.

Now, you are probably wondering, "who are these people and why should I care?"

You should not care. And I should not care. We just choose to engage, or not. Things have meaning only if we give them meaning. As for "who are these people and why so many names?" - let me tell you.

Androl The Greedy

My first online identity ever. It was formed when I was already a (barely) adult. I ended up in a hospital for a while and during this time, I started playing an online game on my phone. Androl is the name of a secondary character from "The Wheel of Time" book series, and "The Greedy" was just a random title I came up with, that sounded edgy without implying power level or social status.

The game was doing wonders for getting people to cooperate and build connections. I found actual real life friends in there. We were brutal, cunning, treacherous and we took the game VERY seriously. I ended up being a faction leader and a well-known figure on my server.

Eventually I left the hospital, returned to normal life and didn't have time for online games anymore, so I quit. However, I still hold the memories dearly and I am still in touch with the friends I made along the way. And I keep the nickname, just in case I will meet someone from our game on the world web.

If I continue developing the site, I will likely tell about the game and my time in it.

When I use the AndrolTheGreedy persona, I’m usually up to no good. }:) It's a nickname I am using in games when I am planning to betray, trick people and steal shit. Or just playing an edgelord. Why not?

Croaker

Croaker is my second nickname from the same game, but it has a different feel to me.

Androl is slippery, competitive, and cunning, seeking to betray his allies at the first opportunity and following the principle: "no matter how far I get, I just have to get further than the rest". Croaker is laid-back and relaxed, focused on teamwork and enjoying the journey rather than the destination. I am more prone to use this nickname when I play non-competitive games, or when I create accounts in online communities where competition isn't the point.

Croaker is easy going, but also tends to not stay in one place. I constantly hop between communities, but don't really have one I feel part of.

If you spot my nickname online, don't feel shy to say hi! I love talking to strangers and don't mind adding anyone, unless they throw me off.

P.S. The nickname itself also comes from a book. Croaker is a nickname of a military surgeon in the classic dark fantasy series, The Black Company.

Toli

Toli is my real life nickname. I rarely use it on internet and it's the closest to my real name I will ever mention here.

So, what is "Toli" persona?

There is no real persona behind this nickname. Toli is just me. A young guy, who made a few bad decisions when he was younger and now pays up for it. I live in Poland, still with my parents. I work a security job 24/48, study part time at an university and when I get free time, I often use it to drive to one of our properties and do some construction works in there. I am very tired and have little to no free time left, but I am happy.

Every day, I pay my past and build my future. Every day is progress. It keeps me happy.

I always wanted to create things, but I suck at art. I often try new things too, but with the little freetime I have left, I don't really have mental capabilities for having hobbies, that do not have any practical use. Luckily, coding is my field of study, so making a web page, or even small game, does have a practical use to me.

Or at least, I am telling myself that.
